Schlee's Gourmet Bakery & Bottle Shop | Barista As a barista, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while preparing coffee, warming pastries and handling orders.

We are looking for:

A high school diploma Communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working solo, or on a small team Willing to learn the three focuses of Schlee's - bakery, coffee and wine Barista, food or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required Must be 21 or older due to state alcohol service laws and unsupervised wine service responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Take orders from customers at the counter using the Point-of-Sale System Answer customer questions amount the menu, including pastries and wine; offering suggestions or pairings when appropriate (training provided) Prepare espresso and drip coffee (training provided) Serve wine by the glass or bottle (training provided) Plate pastries neatly for dine-in, or package them for takeaway Bus and reset tables when needed Participate in daily setup, breakdown and cleaning routines Comply with all state and local food safety ordinances Schedule Part-time 20-25 hours per week Between the hours of 7am and 7pm, weekdays and weekends Pay & Perks $15/hour + tips Staff discount Why Join Us?
