Bobalato & Mochi Co. is a locally owned dessert café in Carmel offering freshly churned gelato, boba drinks, specialty coffee, mochi donuts, Korean-style egg drop sandwiches, bubble waffle sundaes, milkshakes, affogato, and more. We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and friendly Café Team Member who enjoys working with customers and is comfortable working in a fast-paced food-service environment.

Please apply only if you can consistently work the schedule listed above. Expected schedule is approximately 32-40 hours per week . Responsibilities As a Café Team Member, you will be cross-trained in different areas of the store.

Responsibilities may include:

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS/register Prepare boba teas, coffee, refreshers, milkshakes and specialty drinks Scoop and serve gelato and prepare gelato-based desserts Assist with mochi donut preparation, glazing, decorating and packaging Prepare Korean-style egg drop sandwiches and other food items Brew tea, prepare boba, sauces, toppings and other ingredients as needed Restock cups, lids, ingredients, toppings, packaging and supplies throughout the shift Maintain clean and organized workstations Wash dishes, utensils, equipment and food-preparation tools Clean counters, machines, refrigerators, sinks and food-preparation areas Clean and maintain customer seating and dining areas Sweep and mop floors Assist with opening and closing procedures Follow food-safety, sanitation and hygiene requirements Work efficiently with other team members during busy periods Assist with catering, special orders and events when needed Perform other reasonable café duties as assigned Please note: This is a hands-on café position. All team members are expected to participate in cleaning, restocking, food preparation and general store upkeep. Cleaning responsibilities are shared by the entire team. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must meet the required availability listed above Reliable and punctual Friendly and professional with customers Able to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn multiple stations and responsibilities Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Able to perform normal café tasks including bending, reaching, cleaning, stocking and carrying supplies Prior café, restaurant, barista, food-service or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required Training will be provided for the right candidate Compensation $15
