Weekend Barista Part-Time | Weekends | Starting at $15/hour + Tips Previous barista experience

Love coffee, people, and a fast-paced environment? The Busy Bee Play Cafe is looking for a Part-Time Weekend Barista to join our café team! Our café is an important part of the Busy Bee experience. We're looking for someone who can make great drinks, provide genuinely friendly service, stay organized during a rush, and take ownership of keeping the café running smoothly. What You'll Do As a Busy Bee Barista, you'll: Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, refreshers, and other café beverages Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service Prepare and serve our café food and snack items Keep the café clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift Follow recipes, food-safety procedures, and café standards consistently Manage multiple orders while maintaining quality and accuracy Restock supplies and anticipate what will be needed before you run out Help open, maintain, and/or close the café depending on your shift Work alongside our front desk and management teams to create a great overall guest experience Jump in and help wherever needed during busy weekends. All employees are cross-trained. We are a unique business with many roles. We're Looking forSomeone Who Is:
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers At least 16 years old Organized and able to multitask Professional, dependable, and punctual Able to stay calm and efficient when there's a line of customers waiting Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Able to follow recipes and procedures consistently Great at keeping their workspace clean and organized Responsible for managing their own schedule and availability Comfortable working in a busy, family-focused environment Previous barista experience is required. Previous customer service, food service, hospitality, or similar experience is strongly preferred. We're happy to train the right person! Availability & Commitment This is specifically a weekend position , so dependable Saturday and/or Sunday availability is required. We're looking for someone who can work consistently rather than occasionally picking up shifts. Applicants should be comfortable keeping their availability and time-off requests up to date and taking responsibility for their scheduled shifts. Weekend shifts are generally daytime hours, although exact schedules will vary based on business needs. Pay-Starting at $15/hour + tips , depending on experience. The Right Person for This Job... You don't need to be a coffee expert on your first day—we can teach you our recipes, equipment, and processes. We're much more interested in finding someone who is friendly, dependable, hardworking, and takes ownership of their space. The right person doesn't wait until someone says, "We're almost out of cups," or "That counter needs wiped down." They notice it and take care of it.
