Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate Square POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their experience is positive. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation zones, beverage stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions securely, process payments accurately, and give correct change using basic math skills. Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to ensure quality standards are met. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between serving customers, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred. Familiarity with café operations and beverage service techniques is advantageous. Experience using Square POS system. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and warmly with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
