As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will also involve cash handling and maintaining food safety standards to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while managing time effectively during busy periods.

Availability Required:

Tuesday & Thursdays (12-5 p.m.) and weekends. Experience Barista experience is required. Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in café settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not required; training will be provided. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
