We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile and a delicious drink. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices at all times. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Skills Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of various coffee types is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Previous experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous but not required. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. A willingness to help others and contribute to a friendly team atmosphere.
