As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your expertise in coffee and commitment to customer satisfaction will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining spaces. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to retail math principles. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and provide support where needed. Uphold food safety standards and health regulations at all times. Continuously enhance knowledge of coffee products and brewing techniques to improve customer service quality. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn more about different brewing methods and coffee varieties. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
