Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces in accordance with food safety standards. Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at the end of shifts. Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including basic food handling and beverage assembly to ensure timely service. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and ensuring smooth beverage and food service operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience preferred; passion for coffee and beverage service is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
