Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their visit Operate POS systems such as SQUARE for efficient transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café spaces Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while ensuring quality service remains consistent Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving snacks or light food items as needed Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Experience Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Square enhances efficiency in transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Experience in the food industry or retail math is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Join us to bring energy, passion, and excellence to every cup served!
