Founded in 2019 by Drew Beja and August Radbill, Far Out aims to bring New Zealand's signature Real Fruit Ice Cream to the rest of the world, one cone at a time. Guests choose a fruit from a wide variety of options to be mixed with a hard scooped ice cream base, creating a made-to-order finished product which stands apart from both traditional hard scooped and soft serve ice creams. Our core focuses have always been on enlightened hospitality and delivering the highest quality product and experience for both our customers and our teammates. This new location will require a teammate whose main focus is handling the store operations on a day-to-day basis.

Ice Cream Scooper and General Teammate Responsibilities:

Scoop and serve ice cream and other frozen desserts according to Far Out standards and customer requests Prepare and mix fruit and ice cream base to create custom orders Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dipping cabinets, toppings bar, and serving area Restock supplies and ingredients as needed Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers with a smile and answering questions about our menu and offerings Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment Participate in team meetings and training sessions Other duties as assigned Providing a
