Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Tea Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting Tea House environment. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience. Skills Strong knowledge of tea and boba preparation techniques and beverage crafting. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of food safety practices relevant to café operations. Previous experience in a café or retail setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
