As we continue to grow in the Berkshires and greater tri-state area, we're looking for Baristas to join our team at our cafes in Canaan, CT and Great Barrington, MA. Who We're Looking For No prior barista experience is required. What matters most is your excitement to learn, ability to work as part of a team and passion for engaging with customers . Responsibilities As a Barista at Ilse Coffee, you'll: Make high-quality espresso drinks, drip coffee, tea and specialty drinks with care and consistency Provide warm, attentive and genuine service to every guest Share product knowledge and help customers discover new coffees Keep the café clean, organized,and welcoming Work collaboratively with teammates to maintain smooth day-to-day operations Support café setup, restocking and closing duties Represent Ilse Coffee's values and commitment to excellence in everything you do What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus tips Flexible scheduling for both full-time and part-time positions Comprehensive barista training (no experience required) Opportunities for growth within a roasting company with expanding avenues in coffee roasting and wholesale A supportive team environment that values collaboration, curiosity, and education Ideal Candidate Enthusiastic, positive and customer-focused Excited to learn and grow in specialty coffee Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a team setting Passionate about delivering superior products with superior service Pay Base wage is commensurate with experience (starting base is $16/hour) Tip averages range from an extra $5/hour - $15+/hour on top of the base wage
