Job Overview In this energetic role, you will craft delicious beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for all guests. We are looking for someone to work primarily mid week 7-2:30, with an occasional weekend. Some Holidays Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage prep stations, and seating areas Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly Follow food safety standards and food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling snacks or light food items Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in cleaning and food prep Basic understanding of beverage service, drink preparation, and retail sales transactions.
