Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take their orders with enthusiasm, and serve beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling. Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions, giving accurate change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and beverage service to support smooth operations. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while providing attentive customer service. Qualifications Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Proven cashiering skills with experience using POS systems such as Toast POS. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
