Overview Join our team as a Barista! In this energetic role, we work as a team. We craft delicious beverages and sandwiches, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean, safe environment for both guests and team members. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences that keep customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their visit Maintain strict sanitation procedures to ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for smooth transactions and accurate order processing Follow food safety management protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Restock supplies regularly, including coffee beans, milk, cups, sandwich units and utensils to keep the station fully equipped Support food safety practices by adhering to all regulations and guidelines related to food handling and storage Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices. Servsafe certification is preferred but not required. Experience working in a coffee shop, restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payments Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to follow health guidelines diligently and uphold cleanliness standards at all times
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
