Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing regular cleaning duties, food safety practices, and food preparation tasks in accordance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during beverage and snack preparation to uphold food safety standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality or service standards Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales and transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform cleaning duties as needed Join our team to craft exceptional beverages, deliver outstanding service, and create a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back!
