Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or retail space, including food handling and food safety practices Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction balancing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
