Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Handle food preparation and food handling tasks according to safety standards Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, ensuring proper cash register procedures Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food safety protocols and sanitation practices Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively and managing time efficiently Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a strong focus on coffee preparation Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced café environment Basic understanding of retail math, cashiering procedures, and food industry best practices Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our café's success!
