Cool Beans Coffee is looking for a friendly, reliable Weekend Barista to join our team in Locust Point! This is a very part-time position with a flexible weekend schedule. We anticipate an average of approximately 3-4 shifts per month , but the number of shifts may vary from month to month based on scheduling needs, staff availability, vacations, events, and other coverage needs. This could be a great fit for someone who already has a weekday job, is in school, or is simply looking to work a few weekend shifts each month without committing to a traditional part-time schedule.

This position does not have a guaranteed number of hours each week or month. Some months may have more or fewer shifts than others, and additional shifts may occasionally be available.

What You'll Do:

Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew, and other café beverages Take customer orders and operate our Square POS system Prepare breakfast sandwiches and other simple food items Provide friendly and welcoming customer service Keep the café clean, stocked, and organized Work efficiently with the rest of the team during busy periods Help with opening, closing, and general café responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For:

Reliable and punctual Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Able to work well in a fast-paced environment Willing to clean, stock, and jump in wherever needed Dependable weekend availability Barista, café, or food-service experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person

Schedule:

Approximately 3-4 shifts per month on average Number of shifts may vary month to month Saturday and Sunday availability Additional shifts may occasionally be available Cool Beans is a neighborhood coffee shop built around coffee + community. We're looking for someone who will be a great addition to our team and help us continue creating a welcoming, friendly experience for our customers.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
