Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of drinks(smooties), teas, and espresso based beverages with precision and flair. Assemble fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads, and snacks according to established standards. Operate POS systems like Clover for order processing and cash handling. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by promptly taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and balance registers at shift end. Requirements At least 2 years of food prep/Barista experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover or similar systems. Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
