Tous Les Jours is a renowned French-Asian bakery specializing in fresh pastries, cakes, and handcrafted beverages. We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our Front of House team at our new Catonsville location.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience. Display and maintain baked goods, keeping shelves stocked and visually appealing. Prepare and craft specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to take orders and process payments. Maintain cleanliness in the store, including the front counter, seating areas, and self-serve stations. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Job description: Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and customer service will enhance the café experience for our patrons. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers with precision and care. Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while delivering exceptional service. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of café operations is a plus. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.
