Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our growing team! In this role, you will be the face of our café, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, doughnuts, boba and smoothie bowls! Your enthusiasm for coffee, combined with your ability to handle POS (Square) transactions efficiently, will create a welcoming environment for every guest! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care following recipe cards and exact measurements Operate our POS system Square to process all sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments while processing transactions with basic math skills Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and beverage preparation stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Restock supplies regularly and assist in food preparation and condensing when needed to ensure smooth service flow and time management skills Engage with customers to promote menu items, upsell products, and enhance overall customer satisfaction Qualifications Previous barista experience or café background is highly preferred; familiarity with nonautomated espresso machine is preferred but willing to train the right candiates Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Basic math proficiency for processing cash transactions accurately Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods Join us as a Barista where your energy fuels great experiences!
