The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Engage with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business. Skills Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting. Proficiency in retail math for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Familiarity with food preparation processes and food safety standards within the food industry. Experience operating cash registers and POS systems effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
