Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Process cash transactions efficiently while managing retail math for accurate change and sales recording. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall café operations and ensuring timely service. Follow food safety guidelines diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within the food industry or café environment. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales smoothly. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic beverage preparation. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
