Duties Engage with customers, providing personalized service to enhance their café experience Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures Maintain the pastry case and display as needed Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and retail math calculations Assist in food packaging and preparation and serving of baked goods as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Skills Proven experience as a Barista preferred or in a similar food service role within the food industry Strong knowledge of POS systems for seamless transactions Excellent customer service and relationship building skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in all duties

Pay:

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
