• Freeport, Maine MADE Mercantile & Cafe is hiring full-time, year-round baristas to join our growing team in downtown Freeport.

We are looking for friendly, hardworking individuals who genuinely enjoy hospitality, coffee culture, and creating a welcoming customer experience. This is a fast-paced café environment connected to a creative retail and community space featuring local makers, artists, and events. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of an upbeat team, we'd love to meet you. ## Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and café offerings
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café
• Restock products and assist with inventory
• Work efficiently during busy rush periods
• Support the team with opening and closing duties
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers ## Qualifications
• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Weekend availability required
