Barista Compensation Pay rate is $15 an hour + tips ( consistently averaging $25 an hour) Payroll is every two weeks Full-time (40hrs) and Part-time (20-30hrs) positions available Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated barista looking to join our growing team. This role involves preparing high-quality coffee drinks, engaging with customers, and working collaboratively with other team members. Baristas will also be responsible for maintaining tidiness, exercising strong communication during busy periods, and supporting the dynamic needs of the shop during peak hours. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including dialing in espresso grinders and operating espresso machines to ensure quality. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Exercise strong communication skills during rushes to coordinate effectively with team members. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and supplies. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and a positive team environment. Follow safety and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven coffee experience with knowledge of espresso machine operation and coffee menu items. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure during busy periods. Reliable skills in producing latte art. A collaborative approach to teamwork with a positive attitude. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
