Pay starts at $15.10 per hour plus tips. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to uphold food safety and hygiene standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed, following proper food safety protocols. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or cash handling is essential. Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques specific to coffee shops or cafés. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures within the food industry. Proven ability to manage time efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
