Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Serve food items and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly, positive attitude Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation and cleaning Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Commitment to food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, or coffee industry roles is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where great coffee meets exceptional service!
