Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate espresso machines and other equipment to brew coffee and prepare beverages
• Ensure the quality and consistency of each beverage served
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Handle cash transactions using the cash register or POS system
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with food preparation as needed

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee varieties
• Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating orders
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred
• Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system is a plus
