Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy through basic math skills. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety standards and cleaning protocols. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and beverage service that exceeds expectations. Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to support café operations when needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink recipes. Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions. Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform retail math confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is desirable.
