Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and other café favorites with precision and flair. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and delivering prompt beverage and food service. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces to meet food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with basic math skills, process payments securely, and give correct change while managing cash handling responsibilities. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality or safety. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proficiency in operating POS systems like Toast POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Knowledge of food handling procedures, beverage service techniques, and basic math for cash handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
