Job Type:
Full-time Job Summary G Grant 1873 is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Barista to prepare premium coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and non-alcoholic mocktails in an upscale restaurant environment. This is a non-alcoholic beverage position. The Barista will not prepare or serve alcohol. The ideal candidate has strong beverage knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to provide consistent quality during busy service periods. Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, specialty beverages, and mocktails Follow restaurant recipes and presentation standards Produce beverages with consistent taste, temperature, and appearance Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to guests Explain beverage options and make recommendations Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized beverage station Stock cups, ingredients, garnishes, and other supplies Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low Properly clean and maintain espresso and beverage equipment Follow all food-safety and sanitation requirements Work efficiently with servers and other restaurant team members Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of professional barista or specialty-beverage experience Experience operating commercial espresso equipment Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and beverage presentation Mocktail or specialty non-alcoholic beverage experience is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency Excellent communication and guest-service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to remain organized during busy service periods Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Compensation $16
