Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink options, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support smooth café operations. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and ensuring prompt beverage and food service. Requirements Previous barista or café experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage service and coffee preparation is highly valued. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods; attention to detail is essential.
