Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and customer service, providing a welcoming experience for all guests. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, managing retail transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. A strong focus on food safety, food service experience, and excellent customer interactions are essential to succeed in this position. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of coffee beverages and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and consistency. Handle retail sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register. Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including cleaning equipment, counters, and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards. Follow food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff. Manage food service responsibilities efficiently, including food preparation and presentation when necessary. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Experience Previous experience in food service or retail sales is preferred. Coffee experience is highly desirable, including knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create positive guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety practices and cleaning procedures is important for maintaining a hygienic environment.
