Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our vibrant café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to connect with customers and provide exceptional service will enhance their experience at our café. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Operate cash registers accurately, handling transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our patrons. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Engage in sales activities by promoting special offers or new menu items to customers. Experience Previous experience in food service or café settings is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn. Basic math skills are essential for handling cash register operations and processing transactions. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
