About Us Magnum Coffee Roastery is a leading wholesale coffee roaster based in Nunica, MI, dedicated to sourcing, roasting, and distributing the highest quality coffee beans. Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, according to company recipes. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle cash and card transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed both in the store area and behind the coffee bar. Learn and explain menu items, including specials, ingredients, and customization options. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer experience. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary. Open and/or close the café as required, including cleaning and equipment shutdown or setup. Qualifications Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role (preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays and holidays. Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. Basic math skills and ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
