Job Description
Job Overview:
Join our team as a Barista at The Flying Saucer- a friendly and fun place to work
- where you will be the face of our establishment, creating and serving delicious coffee beverages to our valued customers. We are currently looking for 1 permanent barista. Candidate should be available most weekends and weekday mornings. Store hours are 7am to 6pm daily. Base pay is $11/hour plus tips ($15
- $18/hr total)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes and standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Assist in stocking and replenishing cafe items as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and latte art is advantageous
- Organized and self-motivated
