Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS system, processing cash, credit cards, and mobile payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food preparation surfaces to meet food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about beverages and food items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Manage food handling responsibilities by adhering to proper food safety procedures during beverage preparation and food service. Support the team in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy periods. Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems is desirable; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light cleaning duties, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during busy hours. Experience with beverage service, drink preparation, and retail sales transactions will be highly valued.
