Job Description

Overview We are looking for a reliable and energetic Barista & Food Prep Team Member to join our team. This role combines coffee service with kitchen prep, supporting morning and afternoon shifts. You'll prepare high-quality beverages and light food items while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace and providing great customer service. Looking for a candidate with open availability for early mornings and weekends. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Prepare food items including bagels sandwiches, french fries, cream cheese, etc. Assist with baking and assembling fresh products as needed. Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety guidelines Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using basic math skills for transactions and register balancing. Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Other duties as assigned. Experience Previous barista or food prep experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Good communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn
Compensation:
Hourly wage $ + tips From $15+/hour
