Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Barista, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences. As a Barista, you will be responsible for drink preparation, managing customer orders through POS systems, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare drinks efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and standards Operate the Square POS system to process sales, handle cash transactions, and manage customer orders Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, kitchen equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations Manage handling procedures responsibly to ensure quality and safety standards are met Assist with bussing tables, clearing & washing dishes, and supporting overall restaurant cleanliness. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support drink preparation activities Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with Square POS systems is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is advantageous Food preparation experience combined with culinary knowledge is desirable Reliable, punctual and responsible is critical Join us as a Bastia and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
