This role involves assisting customers, preparing and serving beverages and food items, maintaining clean service areas, and working closely with the café team. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and café menu items. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately. Prepare ingredients, supplies, and service stations for daily operations. Deliver completed food and beverage orders promptly and courteously. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked counters, tables, and work areas. Restock coffee, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies. Answer customer questions and assist with menu selections when needed. Communicate special orders, customer preferences, and service concerns to team members. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Help maintain consistent beverage quality and attractive product presentation. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general café duties. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Support coworkers with daily café operations and other assigned tasks. Follow company policies and established customer service standards. Qualifications Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist coworkers. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a shift. Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on service tasks.
