Job Summary Mojo Coffee Gallery is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Shop Worker to support daily café operations and create a welcoming experience for guests. This role involves assisting customers, preparing and serving beverages and food items, maintaining clean service areas, and working closely with the café team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and other café menu items according to established procedures. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately. Assist with preparing ingredients, supplies, and service stations. Deliver completed orders to customers promptly and courteously. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked counters, tables, and work areas. Restock coffee supplies, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other café materials. Answer customer questions about menu items and assist with general requests. Communicate special orders and customer preferences clearly with team members. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Monitor product presentation and help maintain consistent service quality. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Assist coworkers with opening, closing, cleaning, and other daily café duties. Follow company policies and established customer service standards. Perform other coffee shop support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good teamwork skills and willingness to assist coworkers. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a shift. Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on service tasks. Reliable, punctual, and responsible work habits.
