The Lead Barista will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality beverage standards, and leading the barista team to ensure smooth daily operations. This position requires weekend availability and a strong commitment to creating a welcoming environment for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, a deep understanding of coffee and beverage preparation, and the ability to motivate and guide team members. Duties Oversee daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency. Lead, train, and mentor junior baristas to foster skill development and maintain high performance levels. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols are consistently followed in the work area. Manage inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and minimize waste to optimize resources. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with management on staff scheduling, especially emphasizing weekend coverage due to weekend availability requirement. Maintain a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Qualifications Proven experience as a Barista with demonstrated leadership skills or prior experience in a supervisory role.
