Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their café experience Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, counters, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate Requirements Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage service is essential Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Time management skills to handle busy periods effectively and prioritize tasks accordingly This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in energetic environments and are eager to develop their expertise in food service, beverage preparation, and retail sales.
