This role is ideal for someone passionate about coffee as a craft; someone who values education, precision, and continuous learning. Our cafe is not just a service environment, but a space for developing coffee knowledge, refining techniques, and deepening the craft. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages while maintaining quality, consistency, and technique Continuously develop your understanding of coffee, including origin, processing methods, extraction, and flavor profiling Engage customers through coffee education; guiding them through menu offerings, brew methods, and bean selection Maintain a clean and organized environment that reflects high specialty coffee standards Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions Participate in ongoing staff training and coffee education initiatives Uphold all food safety and quality control standards Experience At least 1 year of specialty coffee experience Required Skills Strong foundational knowledge of espresso preparation, dialing in, and brewing methods A genuine interest in continuing to build coffee knowledge and technical skill Excellent customer service skills Strong time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Experience with cash handling and POS systems Basic math skills for recipe adherence and transactions Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with green coffee, sourcing, or roasting concepts Understanding of food safety practices Why Join Us This is an opportunity to grow beyond the basics of service.
