Job Overview Cove Cafe was built on the idea of creating a coffee shop where coffee feels like home. Founded by two girls with a shared dream, Cove is more than a place to grab a drink—it's a space rooted in connection, comfort, and community. As a Barista at Cove Cafe, you play a meaningful role in supporting that dream. You'll be one of the faces people recognize, the reason someone's morning feels a little better, and a big part of what makes Cove feel welcoming and familiar. We're looking for individuals who genuinely care about hospitality, teamwork, and growing alongside a small, intentional business. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages to Cove standards Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, inviting experience Take orders accurately and handle cash/card transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and café throughout shifts Follow food safety, sanitation, and opening/closing procedures Support teammates during busy hours and contribute positively to the work environment Represent the Cove brand with care, professionalism, and heart What We're Looking For Someone who believes in community and supporting small businesses A friendly, reliable, and team-oriented person Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and grow with the cafe Previous barista or food service experience is a plus, but not required A note from us!
