The Clover & The Bee | O+O Hospitality Group Barista The Barista is an important part of the guest experience at The Clover & The Bee, preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while providing warm, genuine hospitality. This role combines beverage execution, efficient service, and teamwork in a busy neighborhood café environment. Core Responsibilities Prepare espresso beverages, coffee offerings, and other café beverages with consistency, care, and efficiency. Follow established recipes and standards for espresso preparation, milk texturing, and drink presentation. Maintain an organized workflow and strong service pace, especially during high-volume periods. Monitor beverage quality and presentation to ensure consistency with company standards. Keep espresso equipment, grinders, workstations, and café areas clean and maintained according to health and safety standards. Restock milk, syrups, coffee, cups, and other supplies throughout the shift as needed. Communicate equipment issues, supply needs, or service challenges promptly to management. Support teammates and contribute wherever needed to keep service running smoothly. Deliver genuine hospitality by creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. Model and uphold O+O Hospitality's core values and culture. Required Qualifications Barista or specialty coffee experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Interest in coffee and a willingness to learn espresso preparation and milk texturing. Ability to multitask and maintain quality during high-volume service. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and maneuver throughout the restaurant for extended periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with significant guest interaction. Early morning and weekend availability is essential.
