Event Barista | Bean Sprout Coffee Co. | Based in Wentzville, MO, events across the St. Louis metro | Part-time, hourly, W-2 We roll a real espresso bar into weddings, corporate conferences, and golf tournaments, and we hand people the best coffee they have had all year. You will pull shots for a line of guests who are happy to be there, talk to a lot of interesting people, and go home when the event ends. PAY $16/hour for your first three events while we train you, then $18/hour once you can run a station on your own. Lead Baristas make $22/hour. On top of that, every event carries a service gratuity of about $100 that is split evenly among whoever works it

• usually $33 to $100 a shift depending on crew size.

Most shifts work out to $22 to $30 per hour all in. Training is paid, and so is travel time between our warehouse and the event.

SCHEDULE

Event-based, so hours vary

• some weeks one shift, some weeks several. We have gaps on both weekdays and weekends right now, so tell us what you actually have available. Shifts are posted ahead in our scheduling app and you pick up what works. Most events are 4 to 8 hours including setup and teardown. If you want steady weekly work, say so
• we can usually build toward it.

GETTING THERE

Events run anywhere from Wentzville to 100+ miles out. For most of them you meet at our Wentzville warehouse and travel with the cart in a company vehicle

• you are on the clock for that drive.

Occasionally, if an event is closer to you than to us, you can drive yourself and we reimburse mileage.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Pull espresso and make specialty drinks fast and consistently
• Talk to guests and make the coffee bar the fun part of their event
• Load, set up, and tear down the cart and equipment
• Keep your station clean and your milk handled safely
• Serve beer, wine, or bar drinks at events that have them (21+ only)

WHAT YOU NEED

• 18 or older, valid driver's license, and a decent driving record
• our baristas drive the company vehicle
• You show up when you said you would. This matters more than anything else on the list.
• Comfortable talking to strangers all day
• Can lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet through a 6-hour event, indoors or out
• 21+ is a real advantage
• it opens up every event with a bar, which means more shifts and faster movement to Lead

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

We will teach you the machine, the menu, and the setup. If you have worked a bar, a cafe, a restaurant, or a busy retail counter, you will pick this up fast. If you have not, bring a good attitude and we will handle the rest.
