Job Summary The Bean is hiring a Coffee Quality Associate to support coffee preparation, product quality, beverage consistency, and daily café operations. This role assists with maintaining quality standards, preparing beverages, monitoring supplies, keeping workstations organized, and providing excellent customer service. Common Job Roles Coffee Quality Associate Coffee Quality Specialist Barista Quality Associate Beverage Quality Associate Café Quality Assistant Key Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to established standards Monitor beverage preparation to maintain consistency and quality Assist with coffee bean, ingredient, and beverage supply organization Operate and maintain café equipment according to company procedures Check products and ingredients for freshness, quality, and proper storage Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized beverage preparation areas Assist customers with coffee and beverage selections Support order preparation and accurate service during busy periods Report equipment, product, or quality concerns to management Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous café, barista, coffee, food service, or customer service experience is an asset but not required Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Preferred Skills Experience with espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage preparation Strong product quality and consistency awareness Good organizational and time management skills Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities About the Company The Bean provides coffee and café services focused on quality beverages, consistent preparation, and friendly customer experiences.
